Habitat Maintenance and Restoration: mark trails, inventory natural features, use GIS to locate threatened and endangered species and map habitat at our St Clair Woods Nature preserve in Kimball Township near Port Huron.

Field Trip Host: Use your warm and engaging personality to make new birders feel welcome then make follow up after trip phone calls.
Education in schools: Bring the wonders of nature to children with popular prepared presentations.
Inform your Legislator: make phone calls to legislators and other Audubon members, write letters, visit your legislator with us and attend in-district meetings.
Spread the message: take the Detroit Audubon table top display to educational, fundraising and festival events
And there are ALWAYS office needs: mailings, resource cataloging, library development and maintenance, data entry, program planning.
