RARE BIRD ALERT PHONE MESSAGE DISCONTINUED

The DAS Rare Bird Alert recorded phone message has been cancelled due to very low use. The use of the internet for regular information on recent sightings of unusual species or numbers of birds has made the use of the phone unnecessary.

An alternative for bird sightings would be the Southeast Michigan Birders Listserv.

WHAT IS BIRDERS?
birders@umich.edu is a local/regional email list which reports and discusses bird sightings in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, and southeast Michigan. As of September 18, 2006, there were 560 members of the list.
